The house is a two story Greek Revival Mansion with the original carriage house and a dependency. Built in the late 1880's by Jean Francis Del Corral-Monent, it reflects a by-gone era in New Orleans history. Significant architectural features include the 14 foot cove ceilings that terminate in a delicate plaster shell motif, the original ceiling medallions and the original gasolier crystal chandeliers in both the parlors. The eight fireplaces, all with the original mantles and ceramic tile hearths set into hard wood floors. Guests are accommodated in our two-room suites upstairs in the main house or in our cottage in the garden area. Each are named for a different continent - Europe, Asia, Eurasia and North American and are decorated with artwork from the continent they represent.
